To tackle Histor's challenge, a test using AI-generated content was initiated. However, simply generating AI content with Midjourney revealed four issues:
Limited perspectives: The AI prefers similar perspectives, resulting in little creative variety in compositions.
Inaccurate color representation: Accurately displaying colors is challenging, especially under different lighting conditions, which is crucial for a paint brand.
Limited image variability: Creating multiple different images within the same room isn't possible, limiting the content's usability.
Time-of-day constraints: The AI often relies on day shots, making it difficult to create images for various times of the day.
More advanced AI tools can solve some of these problems but require specialized knowledge, reducing the broad availability of team members who can work on the content. Additionally, tools with more control often produce less realistic results.
My solution? An optimized AI workflow tailored specifically for Histor. A user-friendly 3D interior tool was integrated with AI, used for enhancement rather than pure text-to-image generation. AI as a tool, not a complete solution!
This approach results in realistic images with precise control over colors, layout, time of day and perspective. It also includes working files which can be used for additional images or adjustments based on feedback.
So, which workflow can I optimize for you with an AI implementation?
